Sightseeing Overview
Junagarh Fort
Constructed by Raja Raj Singh during the period 1588 and 1593. (Raj Singh
was a general in the army of the Mughal Emperor Akbar). The fort built have
a 96 metre -long wall, with 37 bastions and two entrances. The Suraj Pol, or
Sun Gate, is the main entrance to the fort. The distinctive feature of this
fort and its palaces, is the unparalleled quality of the stone carving.
Ganga Golden Jubilee Museum
This Museum showcases a collection of terracota-ware, weapons and miniature
paintings of the Bikaner school.
Bhandeshwar Jain Temples
The enchanting Jain temples built in 16 th century are devoted to the 23rd
Tirthankar Parshvanathji. Other significant shrines of Bikaner include the
Lakshminathji, Ratan Biharji, Shiv Bari and Nagnechiji temple. The Bhaironji
temple at Kodamesar, about 40 kms from Bikaner is another popular site.

Hotel Lalgarh Palace
Location : Nearest Airport (Jodhpur) - is 265 Km , Railway
Station- 3 Km, Down Town- 2 Km, Bus Stand- 3 Km
Erected in 1902 by Maharaja Ganga Singh, it is now being run as a hotel.
The palace has several grand halls, lounges, cupolas and pavilions. Vintage
etchings, hunting trophies and old portraits are the treasure hunt for the
visitors. There are 38 airconditioned rooms equipped with all the necessary
facilities. The palace has its own museum and library. Other facilities that
