Celebrated in the month : Set according to the lunar calendar
Urs is held according to the lunar calendar. The festival is celebrated in
commemoration of the saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, helper of the poor, Urs
Ajmer Sharif - celebrated at Ajmer - is one of the biggest Muslim fairs in
India.
Pushkar

Marwar Festival

Celebrated in the month : September October
Marwar Festival is held every year in memory of the heroes of Rajasthan.
The festival is held in the month of Ashwin (September-October) in Jodhpur,
for two days during the full moon of Sharad Poornima.
