through the desert, on the other you get to communicate with a people who
are recognized for their warmth and traditional hospitality. Stay at some of

cuisines. A sightseeing trip of the district of Ahmedabad (Gujarat) is also

Day 1 : London - Delhi
Leave Heathrow by a British Airways flight in the morning. Arrive at
Delhi's IGI Airport around midnight. On arrival, the companies
representatives give you a warm welcome and escort you to the Imperial Hotel
where your stay has been arranged. Relax and recharge your muscles for the
Day 2 : Delhi - Bikaner
Get up, wash and relish your breakfast. The private cab is waiting outside.
Get into the cab and the travel assistant guides you on a sightseeing of
Delhi. Visit such popular attractions as the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat
etc. Also visit the Chandni Chowk. In the evening, the travel manager
transfers you to the railway station to board the Bikaner Mail. Travel in
the air-conditioned sleeper compartment. Dinner is served on board.
Day 3 : Sightseeing of Bikaner
Arrive at Bikaner in the morning. The private chauffeur driven car awaits
you outside the station. Get into the cab. The travel guide escorts you to
Gajner Palace, a stately mansion. Relax and spend some time at your
convenience. At noon, freshen up as an ethnic Rajasthani lunch is ready for
you. After lunch, your guide takes you out to visit the Junagarh Fort and
the Camel Breeding Farm. Return to the hotel. Have some rest and freshen up.
Get to the exclusive dinning hall where a sumptuous Rajasthani dinner is
ready for you. Have your dinner and stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 : Sightseeing of Bikaner
up, get refreshed and savour your breakfast. The day is free. So, take your
ease and spend some time at your convenience. Enjoy a delicious Rajasthani
lunch at noon. And be ready as there is a jeep safari in store too. Feast
your eyes upon the sights of the colourful flamingos. Later, get back to the
hotel. Relax and freshen up. Move to the elegantly appointed dinning hall.
Have a toothsome traditional dinner. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer
Relish an early morning breakfast and be ready to say adieu to Bikaner. Get
into the air-conditioned coach and head towards Jaisalmer(333 km from
Bikaner), the golden city of Rajasthan. On arrival, the travel
representative escorts to Fort Rajwada or Gorbandh Palace where your stay
has been organised. Take your ease. Explore the rich interiors of the
palace. Notice the wonderful portraits on the wall. At nightfall, get to the
dining hall for a special Rajasthani dinner. Stay overnight at the palace
Day 6 : Sightseeing of Jaisalmer
Wake up to savour an early morning breakfast. Get ready for a sightseeing
of the city as the private cab is waiting outside. First, the travel manager
leads you to the Gdisar Tank. Next, you pay a visit to the Trikuta Hills and
the Jain temples. Get back to the hotel. Freshen up and have a luscious
lunch. Spend some time at your convenience as the afternoon is free for
leisure. You can also shop for some interesting souvenir. Or, you can
explore the nearby villages. Get back to the hotel. Have some rest and then
get ready for a toothsome dinner in the exclusively appointed dinning hall.

Day 7 : Jaisalmer - Osian
Get up and relish your breakfast. Get ready for a morning drive to Osian,
240 km. After a 4-5 hours drive, we arrive at Osian. Enjoy a camel safari in
the afternoon. Feast your eyes upon the sights of the shifting sand dunes.
Later, the travel guide escorts you to the Camel Camp Osian where you dinner
and stay have been arranged. Savour your dinner in ethnic surroundings. Stay
overnight at the camp.
Day 8 : Osian - Jodhpur - Rohetgarh
Get up to say good bye to Osian. Have your breakfast. Start on a drive to
Jodhpur. The travel guide first takes you to visit the imposing Mehrangarh
Fort. Later, visit the Jaswant Thada. Now move on towards Rohetgarh (40 km
from Jodhpur) where your stay has been scheduled. Spend time with the royal
family. Soak in the traditional charm. At nightfall, freshen up as an ethnic
dinner is ready for you in the dinning room. Stay overnight at the heritage
Day 9 : Village trip of Rohetgarh
Wake up, wash and the breakfast is served. The day is free for leisure. You
can choose to start on jeep safari or horse safari through the village.
Communicate with the village folks and know their culture. See the village
artisans at work creating interesting items including leather articles,
pottery and woven handicrafts. Meet the Bishnoi tribes and the Raika
shepherds of Marwar. Get back to the hotel. Relax and then get ready for a
delicious dinner. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 10 : Rohetgarh - Devigarh
Enjoy your breakfast. Spend the morning at leisure. Later, the travel
representative takes you on a drive to Devigarh. En route, visit the famed
Jain temples of Ranakpur, 96 km from Udaipur. See 1,444 bedecked pillars, no
two of which are alike. Further, we move to Devigarh where your stay has
been arranged. Relax and enjoy the ethnic surroundings. Freshen up and have
your dinner in the dinning hall. Stay overnight at the boutique hotel.
Day 11 : Village trip of Devigarh
Get up and wash as the breakfast is ready. The travel guide today leads you
to explore the villages of Devigarh, 28 km northeast of Udaipur. Communicate
with the local people and know their culture, belief and traditions. There
is also an option of taking a sightseeing trip of Udaipur. Later, return to
the hotel and relax. Get refreshed and move to the dinning hall for a
delicious Rajasthani dinner. Stay overnight at the heritage hotel.
Day 12 : Devigarh - Dungarpur
Have your breakfast and get ready for a drive to Dungarpur (110 km from
south of Udaipur), established by Rawal Veer Singh in 1282. On arrival in
the city, the guide escorts you to the famed Udai Bilas Palace where your
stay has been scheduled. Freshen up and have your lunch. In the afternoon,
the guide takes you to visit the Juna Mahal or the Old Palace. Other
attractions include the Badal Mahal, the Rajmata Devendra Kunvar State
Museum & Cultural Centre, the Government Archaeological Museum etc.
Later, return to the palace hotel and relax. Refresh yourself. Your
delicious dinner is ready in the exclusively appointed dinning hall. Stay
overnight at the hotel.
Day 13 : Village trip of Dungarpur
Get up, wash and have your breakfast. Get into the cab waiting outside. The
travel guide leads you to explore the nearby villages. Interact with the
village folks and soak in the traditional charm at the Bhil villages. Know
their cultures and traditions. Later, get back to the hotel. Freshen up as
the dinner is ready in the dinning hall. Have your dinner and stay overnight
at the hotel.
Day 14 : Dungarpur - Ahmedabad
The air-conditioned coach is waiting outside. So, eat up your breakfast and
get ready for a drive to Ahmedabad, 180 km from Dungarpur. En route, get to
visit the Sun Temple at Modhera. Resume the journey to Ahmedabad. On
arrival, the guide escorts you to the House of Mangaldas Govardhandas where
your stay has been organised. Have some rest at the hotel. Freshen up and
move to the dinning hall for a luscious dinner. Stay overnight at the hotel.
15 : Sightseeing of Ahmedabad
Have your breakfast and get ready for a sightseeing trip of the city. The
travel assistant first takes you to the Gandhi Ashram. The ashram is
positioned on the banks of the Sabarmati river. After his return from South
Africa, Gandhiji chose this place to settle. The ashram complex also houses
a museum that is worth seeing. Other attractions to visit include Sidi Sayid
Mosque and Jami Masjid. In the evening, enjoy a lip-smacking traditional
dinner at the famed Vaishala Restaurant. Return to the hotel for an
Day 16 : Ahmedabad - London
We fly back to London to arrive the same afternoon.
